Mansfield Election Season Could be Quiet
No challengers have emerged on the spring ballot.

MANSFIELD, MA — In recent years, Mansfield elections have been more often than not been quiet. That could be the case again this year.
With Tuesday's deadline to submit nomination papers approaching, it looks like there could be no contested races. As of Friday, Selectmen Jess Aptowitz and Frank Delvecchio are the only candidates for their seats. School committee members Kiera O’Neill and Lauren Scher have no challenges for their two seats on that board. Longtime moderator Robert Saquet is expected to run for another term, according to the Sun Chronicle.
The town election is May 8.
