Mansfield Elections May Bring School Committee Changes

Repeat of 2008 race.

Presently Mansfield has a three-way race for the two open seats on the School Committee.

Incumbents Michael Trowbridge of Suzanne Lane and Frank DelVecchio of Old North Trail will be seeking their sixth and third terms, respectively.  Felicia Walker of County Street, who ran an unsuccessful bid for School Committee against Trowbridge and DelVecchio in 2008, will challenge the two.  All are seeking to serve three-year terms.

In the race for the two open seats, current Selectman Chairman Kevin Moran of Central Street pulled papers on Feb. 14.  Incumbent Jess Aptowitz of Fieldstone Drive also seeks reelection for another three-year term.
