Mansfield Field Hockey Heads to D1 South Finals

The Mansfield field hockey team now stands only one game away from the state semi-finals after a big win against Franklin.

A penalty stroke from Caitlin Whitman was all the Hornets needed to get past the Panthers, picking up a 1-0 win, in the semi-finals of the MIAA Division 1 South tournament.

The Hornets will play Walpole in the final at Oliver Ames High School in Easton on Nov. 14 at 1 p.m.
