
It took a strong second half but the Mansfield Hornets found a way to bounce back against the Attleboro Blue Bombariders despite a 14-7 at the half.
Scoring 22 unanswered points, the Hornets came back to win 29-14 according to Hockomock Sports and remain in the race for the Kelley-Rex title.
Sophomore Brian Lynch lead the way for Mansfield, scoring three times for the Hornets.

After a recovered fumble in the first quarter, Lynch gave Mansfield a 7-0 lead after a 7-yard run with 5:09 to play.
Down by a touchdown, Lynch again capped off a 70-yard drive in the third quarter with an 8-yard touchdown. The two-point conversion gave Mansfield a 15-14 lead.

A recovered squib kick by Mansfield gave them a chance to extend the lead with a six-play drive that finished with a six-yard touchdown pass to Michael Boen which pushed the lead to 22-14.
With the Attleboro offense unable to put a drive together, Mansfield ended the evening with a final touchdown from Lynch, an 11-yard-run.
The Hornets are now 2-2 overall and 1-1 in divisional play. Mansfield travels to Taunton next week.
