
Despite being plagued by injuries, the Mansfield Hornets were able to use their depth Friday night to earn a healthy 27-0 victory over the Taunton Tigers.
Matt Garvin lead the way for the Hornets, scoring three of Mansfield’s touchdown against their Kelley-Rex Division foe.
Garvin earned the only score of the first half, punching in a touchdown from two yards up to put the Hornets up 6-0.

Garvin would strike again in the third quarter, scoring a pair of touchdowns from five and two yards out that pushed the lead to 20 by the end of the quarter.
Anthony Keefe’s five-yard rush with 2:53 remaining capped off the evening for Mansfield, who improve to 2-1 in league play and 3-2 overall with the win.
