Mansfield Girls' Basketball Advance to D1 South Semi-Finals
The Hornets defeated Newton South Thursday night.
NEWTON, MA - The Mansfield girls' basketball team moved closer to the Division 1 South championship Thursday night.
The sixth-ranked Wamps pulled an upset, defeating No. 3 Newton South 40-37 at Newton South High School and advancing to the sectional semi-finals.
Next up will be a showdown with No. 2 Bishop Feehan at Massasoit Community College in Brockton. The date and time are to be announced.
