Mansfield High Competing In WGBH Trivia Tournament

PLAINVILLE, MA — Mansfield High School will be among the eight teams competing this Saturday in WGBH's "High School Quiz Show: Extra."

Come to the An Unlikely Story Book Store in Plainville and support some of Mansfield's brightest as they test their knowledge and quick wit in rapid fire format. The teams will answer questions in categories including math, science, pop culture and history. In the first round, Mansfield squares off against Plainville.

The competition is hosted by “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” author Jeff Kinney, who filled in and hosted a few shows for Billy Costa during the televised "High School Quiz Show" season 10. This non-televised academic competition is an extension of the WGBH’s series.

If anyone wants to come support the school, they are invited to come to the bookstore at 10 a.m. The event is free.
