Mansfield High School Student Speaks at Financial & Insurance Conference Planners (FICP) Winter Symposium

Katie Wholley, a Mansfield High School senior spoke about her experience with Junior Achievement of Northern New England.

Katie Wholley, a senior at Mansfield High School and participant in Junior Achievement(JA) programs recently spoke at the FICP Conference in Boston about her experience with Junior Achievement and the impact it has had on her life.

Katie was introduced to Junior Achievement in 2014 when she participated in JA's Stock Market Challenge event. She loved the event so much and wanted to learn more about business and applied to participate in the JA Academy, a 13 week program led by volunteer mentors from the business community, where students learn the ins and outs of running a business. Katie has also participated in JA's Summer Institute and Student Leadership Summit.

"Junior Achievement has taught me how to be independent and instilled the desire to seek new opportunities in my life. It has also given me many opportunities to explore and develop my growth unlike any other after school program or course in high school could ever teach me," said Katie Wholley.
