Mansfield Hires New Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Tuesday night, the selectmen approved Edward Donoghue as the new assistant superintendent of finance and operation.

MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield has their guy for the new assistant superintendent for a new position.
Tuesday night, the selectmen approved Edward Donoghue as the new assistant superintendent of finance and operation. The position is a reworking director of finance and operation position held by Edward Vozzella, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
Donoghue comes to Mansfield from the Bourne Public Schools, where he has been the director of business services for seven years. He has a total of 10 years of experience in similar position.

He holds a degree in business administration from Suffolk University, an MBA from Anna Marie College, and a master's degree in education from Bridgewater State University.
Six candidates interviewed for the position, according to assistant superintendent Theresa Murphy.

Donoghue is expected to start his new job in June.
