Mansfield Ice Hockey to Face Franklin Thursday

The Mansfield High boys' ice hockey team will get back on the ice Thursday when they play Hockomock League rival Franklin in the Division 2 South semifinals at 5:30 p.m. at the Gallo Arena in Bourne.

Mansfield defeated North Quincy, 2-1, in the quarterfinals, while Franklin beat Martha's Vineyard, 4-3, Saturday.

The other semifinal game will be Wednesday as Oliver Ames will face Canton at Gallo Arena in a 5:30 p.m. game. 

The two winners will play for the Division 2 South title Sunday, March 10 at Gallo at a time to be announced.
