Mansfield Interim Superintendent Lone Finalist for Post

The lone finalist for the Mansfield Superintendent position is the man that is currently in the position.

Interim Superintendent Zeffro Gianetti was selected to move forward as a finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools according to a press release from School Committee Chairman Michael Trowbridge.

Of the 20 applications reviewed, the search committee selected three semi finalists who they felt they would like to interview.

After two days of interviews, the committee chose two candidates as finalist. With one candidate withdrawing from the process, Gianetti was left as the only candidate being brought forward.

If approved by the school committee, Gianetti will replace Brenda Hodges who resigned after she was accused of plagiarism in her speech at the Mansfield High School graduation ceremony earlier this year..

The date for the interview will be announced within the next few days.
