Mansfield Man Accused of Threatening President Had Weapons, Told FBI of Plan

The revelations are part of new court documents recently made public.

A 26-year-old Mansfield man who was questioned by U.S. Secret Service agents last week allegedly told the FBI of his intent to kill President Barack Obama through an online tip line.

In a spoken electronic message, Andrew J. O’Keefe told authorities that he was planning to kill the president, even daring Secret Service agents to visit him according to the Sun Chronicle.

Those agents paid a visit to his West Village apartment last Friday. During a search of his house and car, police seized swords, knives, a DVD on cyanide, and an air compressed electronic rifle.
