Mansfield Man Arrested for Fifth OUI Charge
Donald M. DeBaggis was taken into custody following a minor car crash on School Street.

MANSFIELD, MA — A Mansfield man was drunk when he caused a car crash Monday night, police said.
Donald M. DeBaggis, 59, was arrested following the crash and charged with his fifth OUI charge, according to the Sun Chronicle. His last drunken driving arrest was in 1986.
At about 7 p.m., DeBaggis allegedly rear-ended a vehicle on School Street that was moving out of the way of a police cruiser with its emergency lights on. DeBaggis said the car in front of him stopped and was unable to stop in time.

DeBaggis was taken into custody following a police investigation and failed field sobriety test. No injuries were reported.
DeBaggis pleaded not guilty to the charge during his arraignment Tuesday in Attleboro District Court. He was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday.
