Mansfield Man Charged in Local Robberies
Police say David McKinley is responsible for three recent robberies near the intersection of Route 106 and Copeland Drive.

MANSFIELD, MA - A Mansfield man faces charges for a series of robberies that took place around town.
David M. McKinley, 27, of Mansfield, was arraigned Friday in Attleboro District Court and ordered held on $15,000 bail. He was arrested at the Gaard Motel in Foxborough Thursday night and charged with armed robbery while masked, two counts of unarmed robbery, and larceny, according to the Mansfield Police Department.

Police say McKinley was involved in the robberies of the Mansfield Honey Dew Donuts, Sunoco Gas station, and Mobil Gas station. All three locations are near the intersection of Route 106 and Copeland Drive.
During the investigation at the motel, clothes that were worn during the robberies were found in McKinley's room and seized as evidence, police said.

Police were able to identify McKinley thanks to several tips from people who saw surveillance photos of him on social media.
