Mansfield Man Charged With Drug OUI in Easton

A Mansfield man has been charged with this third OUI after a motor vehicle stop in Easton.
Steven Everett, age 57 of Maple St Mansfield was arrested by police and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of heroin, and possession of a Class C drug.
On Wednesday night around 7:00 p.m., Easton Police responded to a call concerning an eratic driver. According to the caller, a brown Mazda was traveling on Bay Road at about 10-15 mph and swerving into the oncoming lane of traffic.

Easton Officer Leonard Coe was able to locate and stop the vehicle according to Easton Police Chief Allen Krajcik.
Previously, Everett was arrested twice for operating under the influence of liquor.

Everett was held on bail and transported to the Bristol County House of Correction in New Bedford. He was arraigned in Taunton District Court Thursday morning.
