Mansfield Man Faces Child Porn Charges

MANSFIELD, MA — A Mansfield man is being held on bail following allegations that he had a two-year online relationship with a 10-year-old girl through apps like Snapchat.

Marc Reposa, 50, was arraigned in Attleboro District Court Thursday on charges of child pornography possession, posing a child in a sexual act, sending obscene materials to a minor and, unnatural acts with a child. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was ordered held on $100,000 cash bail, according to the Sun Chronicle.The Nashua, New Hampshire Police Department, which started the investigation last month, are charging Reopsa with sexual exploitation of a minor via telecommunications.

The Mansfield investigation began after notification about Reposa from Nashua Police. Police seized Reposa's phone and laptop and learned that the Mansfield man allegedly bought gifts for the girl and other children. Nashua Police say the gifts include a teddy bear.

Reposa allegedly admitted to spending $20,000 for the children he communicated with and is now in debt.

He was arrested Wednesday after he was released from Norwood Hospital, where he's been since last month,

He's due back in court April 10.
