Mansfield Man Possibly Injured in Rollover Crash

MANSFIELD, MA - A Mansfield man was transported to a local hospital for possible internal injuries after a car accident in town.

At about 6:35 p.m. Friday night, police and fire crews in Mansfield responded to a reported single vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of School and West Streets.

Officers at the scene verified that the vehicle went into a tree and came to a rest on the driver's side.

The operator, a 56-year-old Mansfield man was removed from the vehicle and treated for injuries. The operator was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital and then to Rhode Island Hospital for possible serious internal injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
