Ex-Mansfield Man Arrested In Easton Standoff
Anthony Tatarouns, 25, was taken into custody by police Monday morning.

EASTON, MA — A man was address was arrested following a report of multiple people barricaded inside a home in Easton.
Anthony Tatarouns, 25, of Easton and formerly of Mansfield, was taken into custody by police Monday morning. He was also wanted in connection to a domestic dispute that took place in North Attleboro Sunday night. He is expected to face charges of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and witness intimidation.
Monday morning, police responded to a report of multiple people barricaded inside a home on Old Foundry Street with an armed suspect. Members of the MetroLEC SWAT team assisted at the scene.

An arrest was made at about 10:30 a.m.

In the domestic dispute, the Sun Chronicle reports that a witness saw Tatarouns allegedly strangle, punch and beat his boyfriend before leaving the scene.
Officers from Mansfield and Norton assisted at the scene.
