Mansfield Police Battle Make-Shift Toilets at Jimmy Buffett Show

Police at Saturday's shows found several fans in the parking lot with their own toilets.

Apparently getting wasted away in Margaritaville means homemade toilets, much to the annoyance of the Mansfield Police Department.

During Saturday’s Jimmy Buffett show at the Xfinity Center, police found themselves dealing with concertgoers who thought they could avoid the lines to the bathroom with their own make-shift and portable toilets.

Police Chief Ronald Sellon told the Sun Chronicle that Buffett fans are the primary offender, calling the practice “unsanitary and just disrespectful.”

Police took to Facebook before the show to warn fans that the concert was not a bring your own toilet show, but police estimate that 75 to 100 people were told to take down their personal toilets with seven to 10 commodes left after the show.
