Mansfield Police Investigating Bank Robbery
Police are searching for a man who they say robbed the North Easton Savings Bank on Copeland Drive.

MANSFIELD, MA — Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place in Mansfield Monday afternoon.
Just before 2 p.m., the North Easton Savings Bank on Copeland Drive was robbed by an unarmed man. Police have few details so far but say the man stole a car from a car wash on Route 44 in Taunton Monday morning and made his way to Mansfield, where he passed a note to the teller demanding cash and fled toward the back of the bank property toward Central Street.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s or 40s, about 5'9"-5'11," with brown hair, scruffy facial hair, thin build, and was described as being dirty, especially his hands that appeared dirty as if he is someone who works with his hands.

Police say the man fled in the stolen vehicle - a silver truck with the plate S51-S887.
If you know who he is, you are asked to call Mansfield Police at 508-261-7300. If you see the vehicle, do not approach, and call 911 immediately. Tell the dispatcher you want to report the stolen vehicle from Taunton used in the Mansfield bank robbery.
