VIDEO: Late Night Robbery at Gas Station in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, MA — The Sunoco Gas Station on Copeland Drive was robbed late Tuesday night police said.

At about 11:22 p.m. police responded to a reported armed robbery. The suspect was seen entering the gas station's store while pulling a neoprene style ski mask over his face. According to police, the suspect approached the counter, showed the clerk a machete-style knife and asked for all the money. The clerk provided the suspect with the money from the register before the suspect is left using the same door he entered.

He is is described as a white or Hispanic male in his mid 20’s to early 30’s approx. 5’8”-5’10” tall with dark facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a grey windbreaker-style jacket with a light-colored shirt under, dark blue jeans and white sneakers. white sneakers.

The clerk told police that he witnessed a dark colored car with a similar style to a Nissan Maxima or Toyota Camry leave the parking lot immediately following the robbery and continued northbound on Copeland Drive towards Route 106.
