Mansfield Police Log: 2nd OUI, Disorderly Conduct, and More

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

August 20

The following people were taken into custody during the Jimmy Buffet concert at the Xfinity Center:

  • Four people were taken into protective custody.
  • Jared Ayres, 26, of Lyndeborough, N.H., received a summons for possession of a Class B drug.
  • Nickolas Schippers, 24, of Millbury, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
  • A 40-year-old from Milford received a summons for domestic assault and battery.

1:45 a.m. - An officer reported a possible car crash near Route 140. After locating the crash, a driver, Connor McGovern, 22, of Worcester, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation.

2:01 a.m. - Lot security at the Xfinity Center reported a car running with two men sleeping. The two men, a 21-year-old from Chichester, N.H. and 26-year-old from Bow, N.H. were taken into protective custody.

9:01 p.m. - Xfinity Center post command reported a possible drunk driver. After police located the vehicle at the Xtra Mart on South Main Street, Andrew Watkins, 60, of Port Edward, N.Y., was arrested and charged with his operating under the influence of liquor (second offense) and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

August 21

The following people were taken into custody during the Prophets of Rage concert at the Xfinity Center:

  • One person was taken into protective custody.
  • Drew Mann, 30, of Bondsville, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug.
  • Kyle Seggelin, 23, of Sharon, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

12:22 a.m. - A caller on School Street reported a car in front of her that was operated by a possibly drunk person. Following a traffic stop, Nathaniel Goodale, 43, of West Dennis, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

2:47 a.m. - A 43-year-old from Mansfield and a 45-year-old from Mansfield were arrested at the Canoe River Campground. The 45-year-old was arrested for assault and battery on a family or household member and the 43-year-old received a summons for assault and battery on a family or household member.
