Mansfield Police Log: Assault, Break-in, and More

October 7
6:26 a.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of Franklin and Winter Streets, a 31-year-old male from Middleboro received a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
10:24 a.m. - Framingham Police told Mansfield officers that a man under house arrest and under GPS monitoring had cut off his device on Oct. 5 and dropped in Norwood. He was not believed to be at his West Street home but he was later discovered to be home. The man, Michael Abdi, 29, of Mansfield, was arrested on a warrant.

1:42 p.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of Hope and Pratt Streets, a 45-year-old woman from Mansfield received a summons for using a motor vehicle without authority.
10:54 p.m. - A 54-year-old Mansfield woman on Henry Street was taken into protective custody.
October 10
11:23 a.m. - A 54-year-old from Mansfield was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family or household member.
2:43 p.m. - A 45-year-old from Mansfield was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order and placing a person in fear during a daytime breaking and entering.
