Mansfield Police Log: Assault With a Dangerous Weapon, Indecent Assault, and More

February 19

7:05 a.m. - A fight involving a steak knight was reported at the Holiday Inn on Hampshire Street. Officers were able to break up the fight and made one arrest. Ruben Nunez, 54, of Attleboro, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery. A 38-year-old from Pawtucket, Rhode Island received a summons for assault and battery.

11:03 a.m. - Anna Berchtold, 54, of Mansfield, was arrested on Rumford Avenue on a warrant.

12:42 p.m. - During a traffic stop on East Street, a 31-year-old from Mansfield received a summons for operating with revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

4:55 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Old Elm Street, a 36-year-old from Stoughton received a summons for unlicensed operationg of a motor vehicle.

February 21

11:24 a.m. - After an assault on Oakland Street was reported, a summons was issued to a 50-year-old from Randolph for indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older.

3:53 p.m. - Jason Ambrose, 29, of Dorchester, was arrested at the police station on a warrant.
