Mansfield Police Log: Attempted Break-in, Domestic Assault, and More

November 17

3:46 p.m. - During a family disturbance, a person received a summons for threatening to commit a crime.

11:12 p.m. - During a disturbance, a person was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family or household member.

November 18

11:05 a.m. - A caller on Gilbert Street reported a black pickup truck with a driver who told a neighbor that he was hired to do some yard work. The caller said he didn’t hire anyone to do work at his property and asked officers to check his home. Upon arrival, police reported that there was an attempt to open the front door and a green Honda Civic that was gone on arrival. After identifying the men in the car, police arrested James Monteiro, 35, of Cumberland, R.I. and charged him with breaking and entering a building in the daytime for a felony, malicious destruction of property over $250, and conspiracy.

5:43 p.m. - A caller reported a man doing karate kicks near St. Mary’s Church on Pratt Street. Upon arrival, the man, Charles Ingolia, 29,of Mansfield, was arrested on a warrant.

November 20

5:37 p.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of West Street and Douglas Drive, a 32-year-old man from Randolph received a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

November 22

9:25 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Bristol Plaza on East Street, a 56-year-old man from Easton was arrested and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
