Mansfield Police Log: Car Crash Leads to Charges, Stolen Painting, and More

March 1

4:18 a.m. - A tree down on Central Street was reported. The DPW responded and removed the tree.

11:19 a.m. - A larceny was reported on West Street.

12:28 p.m. - A stolen painting was reported on Hampshire Street.

March 2

7:26 a.m. - A minor car crash was reported on Pratt Street.

4:44 p.m. - After a car accident on Oakland Street, a 35-year-old male from Dorchester received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

6:05 p.m. - A caller on North Street told police that she saw a package which she believed contained heroin. An officer took the item.

March 3

3:14 p.m. - A car crash was reported at the intersection of North Main and Chauncy Streets. The operator of one of the vehicles will be charged.
