Mansfield Police Log: Disorderly Conduct, Multiple Drug Charges at Phish Concert, and More

July 4

5:54 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Chauncy Street, a 24-year-old male from Dedham received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

The following people were taken into custody during the Slipknot show at the Xfinity Center:

  • 1 person was taken into protective custody.
  • Philip Shea, 39, of Plainville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

July 6

1:00 p.m. - A 30-year-old male from Norton at the Red Roof Inn on Forbes Boulevard was taken into protective custody.

July 7

3:59 p.m. - A dog in a car at the Steely Dan concert at the Xfinity Center was reported. An officer contacted the owner and took the pug to the police compound. The owner, a 67-year-old male from Salem, received a summons for animal cruelty.

July 8

The following people were taken into custody during the Phish show at the Xfinity Center:

  • Six people were taken into protective custody.
  • Thomas Szawerda, 53, of Oakdale, Conn., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D drug and possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute.
  • Natale Van Dine, 27, of Boca Raton, Fla., was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a Class B drug.
  • Leslie Balcom, 37, of Glen Falls, N.Y., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug (subsequent offense).
  • Lysle Wickersham, 33, of Easthampton, was arrested and charged with distributing a Class D drug and two counts of possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute.
  • Marissa David, 19, of Easthampton, received a summons for possession of a Class B drug.
  • James Low, 35, of Suffield, Conn., was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a Class E drug and possession of a Class B drug.
  • Eric Allis, 23, of Pelum, N.H., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug and inhaling glue/toxic substance.
  • Amaranth Stoiocory, 25, of Castleton, Va., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug.
  • Steven Hornstein, 28, of Philadelphia, Penn., was arrested and charged with possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute.
  • Corey Brown, 27, of South Kingston, R.I., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug.
  • Brian Babin, 32, of Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug.
  • Dimitri Dhembe 19, of Southbridge, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute and possession of a Class B drug.
  • Derrick Hunt, 31, of Baltimore, Md., was arrested and charged with selling toxic vapors.
  • Lawrence Alfonzo, 25, of Providence, R.I., was arrested and charged with selling toxic vapors.
  • Anthony Travia, 55, of Ocean City, N.J., was arrested and charged with selling nitrous oxide.
  • Jake Beers, 31, of Westminster, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of a class E drug.
  • Brian Pierce, 46, of Franconia, N.H., was arrested and charged with selling toxic vapors.
  • Todd Donovan, 43, of Waltham, was arrested and charged with selling noxious vapors and possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute.
  • Yvonne Kelley, 31, of Sandwich, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and possession of a Class C drug with intent to distribute.

6:33 p.m. - An 18-year-old from Mansfield at Citgo on South Main Street received a summons for assault and battery and disturbing the peace.
