Mansfield Police Log: Disorderly Conduct, Slashed Tires, and More

September 26

9:28 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Wood Avenue, a 28-year-old woman from East Bridgewater received a summons for operating with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

11:00 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Old Colony Way, a 19-year-old from Mansfield received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle lights violation.

September 27

1:18 a.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of School Street and Route 140, a 25-year-old from North Providence, R.I. received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating with suspended registration.

September 29

8:08 a.m. - Alexander Galanis, 24, of Mansfield, was arrested on Nelson Way on a warrant.

October 1

1:35 p.m. - Following a rollover on Route 495 South near the exit to South Main Street, a 35-year-old from Franklin received a summons for operating a vehicle negligently so as to endanger and a marked lanes violation.

4:58 p.m. - A juvenile received a summons for assault and battery.

10:06 p.m. - While police were speaking to the fire department about a malicious alarm pull, a fight was reported on North Main Street. A foot chase with someone running behind Car Wash Pro’s was reported. Police located the suspect, identified as Christopher Metrano, 39, of Mansfield. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and malicious destruction of property over $250. A 39-year-old woman from Mansfield received a summons for disorderly conduct.


October 3

7:10 a.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of School and Spring Streets, a 27-year-old woman from Mansfield received as summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

11:39 a.m. - Someone at CVS told police that they saw someone slash a tire before leaving the area. Surveillance video showed two people following the reporting party to CVS and then slashing the man’s tires. A 19-year-old Mansfield man and 27-year-old North Attleboro man will be summons to court for conspiracy to commit malicious damage. The Mansfield man will also be summons for malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
