Mansfield Police Log: OUI, Assault, and More

January 10

5:05 p.m. - A 37-year-old and a 34-year-old received summons for assault and battery on a household member.

January 11

6:10 a.m. - While responding to a stranded motorist at the intersection of Copeland Drive and Chauncy Street, Sherei Leav, 35, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was arrested on a warrant.

January 16

3:13 p.m. - A 34-year-old was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

8:49 p.m. - During a traffic stop on West Street near Hampshire Street, Nicholas Linfield, 30, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger, operating under the influence of alcohol, and speeding. Police say Linfield drove 70 mile-per-hour in a 40 miles-per-hour speed zone.
