June 29
6:11 p.m. - A possible hit and run was reported near Stop and Shop on Chauncy Street. The caller told police that the male driver attempted to flee and entered the liquor store. When police took custody of the suspect, Samuel Reynolds, 23, of East Providence, R.I., received a summons for operating under the influence of liquor, disorderly conduct, leaving the scene of property damage, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

11:19 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Franklin Street, a 19-year-old male from Mansfield received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

During the Weezer concert at the Xfinity Center, four people were taken into protective custody and a 28-year-old from Middleboro was charged with assault and battery on a family or household member.
11:43 p.m. - A 59-year-old female from Mansfield on Rumford Avenue was taken into protective custody.
July 2
8:06 a.m. - James Allen, 46, of Fall River, turned himself into police on a warrant.
8:42 a.m. - A stolen motorcycle was reported on School Street.
4:08 p.m. - A 34-year-old from Mansfield at Kohl’s received a summons for shoplifting by asportation.
