Mansfield Police Log: Possible Gun in Road Rage Incident, Warrant Arrests, and More

August 13
9:42 p.m. - Jacob McAulay, 19, of Mansfield was arrested on Chauncy Street on a warrant.

5:39 a.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of Elm and Oak Streets, a 61-year-old female from Cumberland, R.I. received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
6:34 a.m. - During a traffic stop just past School Street on Route 140, a 32-year-old male from Amherst received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

August 15
2:03 a.m. - A 30-year-old from Mansfield was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, threats to commit a crime, assault and battery on a family or household member, witness intimidation, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
12:40 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Cumberland Farms on Chauncy Street, a 28-year-old from Brockton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
August 16
12:48 a.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of Mill Street, a 48-year-old male from Norton received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license as a habitual offender.
1:22 a.m. - Victoria Elkhoury, 24, of Mansfield, was arrested at Mansfield Gas on Chauncy Street on a warrant.
2:34 p.m. - Police received a 911 call for a road rage incident on Route 495 near the exit 12 ramp. The caller said the operator of another vehicle displayed a gun during the incident before driving up Route 140 and going past Mansfield Crossing. The suspect said it was the original caller who had the gun and he was followed off the highway and past the mall. No charges were filed aside from a summons issued to a 19-year-old from Ashland for operating a motor vehicle with revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
7:42 p.m. - A 47-year-old male from Mansfield on Rumford Avenue was taken into protective custody.
