Mansfield Police Log: Serious Crash Leads to Charges and More

July 19
2:12 a.m. - During a traffic stop near Rite Aid on Chauncy Street, a 26-year-old male from Woonsocket, R.I. received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and a miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.
7:01 a.m. - A caller reported a two-car crash on Williams Street. The driver struck a pole. The passenger was able to get out of the car with only minor injuries, but the driver required the jaws of life to be removed from the vehicle, the Mansfield Fire Department said. The driver, a 19-year-old male from Mansfield, received a summons for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and speeding.

July 20
6:28 a.m. - During a traffic stop on East Street, a 29-year-old male from Brockton received a summons for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

8:15 p.m. - Following a three-car crash at the intersection of Chauncy Street and Copeland Drive, a 28-year-old woman from Mansfield received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
July 21
1:20 a.m. - During a traffic stop at the intersection of East and Eastman Streets, a 25-year-old woman from Mansfield received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and not having an inspection sticker.
