7:45 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Erick Road, a 20-year-old from Providence, Rhode Island received a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

4:17 p.m. - A shoplifter was reported at Kohl’s at Mansfield Crossing. After the woman fled the parking lot, police were able to locate the suspect a 29-year-old Norton woman at her home. She received a summons for shoplifting by concealing merchandise (third offense) and stolen property offenses.
10:14 p.m. - A 14-year-old on Stearns Avenue received a summons for assault and battery on a police officer.

January 2
2:48 p.m. - Police found a person sleeping in his car on Old Colony Way. The 43-year-old man from Hyde Park was taken into protective custody.
10:00 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Central Street, a 54-year-old woman from Warwick, Rhode Island received a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
