Mansfield Police Searching for Man to Buy Phones With Fake Cards for Friends in Jail

MANSFIELD, MA — Police are looking for a man who tried to buy phones with a fake ID and cards.

On Dec. 26, the man pictured entered Best Buy, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint at Mansfield Crossing. The man told the employees that he was looking to buy phones for his friends who were getting out of jail soon, according to Mass. Most Wanted. Police say he attempted to use a fake Pennsylvania ID and counterfeit credit cards.

The man is described as having a medium build, complexion, and height, with a cast on his left arm.
