Mansfield Police Update: 1,079 Calls, 22 Arrests
Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from the past two weeks.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Jan. 14-27
The Mansfield Police Department responded to 1,079 calls for service, an eight percent increase from the prior two weeks. Officers responded to 14 911 hang-ups, 92 medical calls, and 39 alarms, 25 of which were commercial and 14 were residential. Officers conducted 112 motor vehicle stops. There were 72 citations and 40 verbal warnings.
Police made 22 arrests during the past two weeks; seven were on-site arrests, 13 were summons, and two were warrant arrests. Ten of the arrests were non-residents, and twelve were residents.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 59 incident reports. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to assault and battery with a deadly weapon, operating under the influence of liquor, larceny over $250, assault and battery, violating a harassment order, receiving stolen property, larceny by a scheme, breaking and entering, harassment, larceny under $250, malicious destruction of property, graffiti, disturbance, and threats.
Officers responded to 21 accidents.
