Mansfield Police Update: 429 Calls, 16 Arrests

Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from the past week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Oct. 8-14

The Mansfield Police Department responded to 429 calls for service, a 7 percent decrease from the prior week. Officers responded to nine 911 hang-ups, 52 medical calls, and 14 alarms, six of which were commercial and eight were residential. Officers conducted 53 motor vehicle stops, 34 were written warnings or civil citations, and 19 were verbal warnings.

Police made 16 arrests this past week; seven of which were on-site arrests, eight were summons, and one was a warrant arrests. Eight of the arrests were non-residents, and eight were residents.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 19 incident reports reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to assault and battery, drug law violations, check forgery, OUI, protective custody, credit card fraud, hit and run, breaking and entering, larceny, civil disputes, harassment, identity fraud, and missing person.

Officers responded to five accidents last week.
