Mansfield Police Update: 477 Calls, 13 Arrests

Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from the past week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Sept. 23-29.

The Mansfield Police Department responded to 447 calls for service, a 6 percent decrease from the prior week. Officers responded to six 911 hang-ups, 48 medical calls, and 22 alarms, 17 of which were commercial and five were residential. Officers conducted 48 motor vehicle stops, 73 percent of which were written warnings or civil citations, and 27 percent were verbal warnings.

Police made 13 arrests this week; 23 percent of which were on-site arrests, 69 percent were summons, and 8 percent were warrant arrests. Seven of the arrests were non-residents, and six were residents.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 30 reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to larcenies, shoplifting, assault, disputes, disturbances, drug law violations, protective custody, threats, resisting arrest, and motor vehicle offenses

Officers responded to three accidents this week. The accidents occurred on Sept. 23 and 24.
