Mansfield Police Update: 480 Calls, 13 Arrests

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Oct. 29-Nov. 4

The Mansfield Police Department responded to 481 calls for service, a 6 percent decrease from the prior week. Officers responded to six 911 hang-ups, 42 medical calls, and 25 alarms, 15 of which were commercial and 10 were residential. Officers conducted 100 motor vehicle stops. There were 75 citations and 25 verbal warning.

Police made 13 arrests last week; one was on-site arrest, nine were summons, and three were warrant arrests. Eight of the arrests were non-residents, and five were residents.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 13 incident reports reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to protective custody, malicious destruction, violating a restraining order, possession of a Class B drug, shoplifting, warrants, disturbances, larcenies, disorderly conduct, threat, and identity fraud.

Officers responded to five accidents last week.
