Mansfield Police Update: 480 Calls, 14 Arrests
Here's what the Mansfield Police Department was up to last week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Oct. 29-Nov. 4:
The Mansfield Police Department responded to 480 calls for service, a 15 percent increase from the prior week. Officers responded to seven 911 hang-ups, 33 medical calls, and 14 alarms, 12 of which were commercial and two were residential. Officers conducted 59 motor vehicle stops. There were 41 citations and 18 verbal warnings.
Police made 14 arrests last week week; two were on-site arrests, eight were summons, and four were warrant arrests. Twelve of the arrests were non-residents, and one was a resident.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 26 incident reports last week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to assault and battery, operating under the influence of liquor, motor vehicle larceny, conspiracy, threat to commit murder, shoplifting, assault and battery on a police officer, 209A violation, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Officers responded to seven accidents last week.
