Mansfield Police Update: 549 Calls, 12 Arrests

Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from the past week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Nov. 19-25

MANSFIELD, MA — The Mansfield Police Department responded to 549 calls for service, a 3 percent increase from the prior week. Officers responded to six 911 hang-ups, 38 medical calls, and 23 alarms, 13 of which were commercial and 10 were residential. Officers conducted 56 motor vehicle stops. There were 38 citations and 18 verbal warning.

Police made 12 arrests last week; two were on-site arrests, eight were summons, and two were warrant arrests. Seven of the arrests were non-residents, and five were residents.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 24 incident reports reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to assault and battery, fraud, restraining order violation, malicious destruction of property, shoplifting, breaking and entering, and larceny.

Officers responded to four accidents and no overdoses last week.
