Mansfield Police Update: 573 Calls, 16 Arrests
Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from the past week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Oct. 15-21
The Mansfield Police Department responded to 573 calls for service, a 34 percent decrease from the prior week. Officers responded to seven 911 hang-ups, 57 medical calls, and 18 alarms, five of which were commercial and 13 were residential. Officers conducted 54 motor vehicle stops. There were 37 citations and 17 written warning.
Police made 16 arrests this past week; five of which were on-site arrests, 10 were summons, and one was a warrant arrests. Ten of the arrests were non-residents, and five were residents.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 21 incident reports reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to drug law violations, assault and battery, malicious destruction of a motor vehicle, OUI, protective custody, breaking and entering, suspicious activity, threats, larceny, malicious destruction, and identity fraud.
Officers responded to nine accidents last week.
