Mansfield Police Update: 899 Calls, 60 Arrests
Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from last week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for July 15-28:
The Mansfield Police Department responded to 899 calls for service, a 8 percent decrease from the prior week. Officers responded to nine 911 hang-ups, 97 medical calls, and 44 alarms, 31 of which were commercial and 13 were residential. Officers conducted 113 motor vehicle stops. There were 61 citations and 52 warnings.
Police made 60 arrests this past week; 37 were on-site arrests, 18 were summons, and five were warrant arrests. Fifty-three of the arrests were non-residents, and four were residents. In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 47 incident reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to protective custody, OUIs, hit-and-run, resisting arrest, drug possession, larceny, breaking and entering, assault and battery, conspiracy, shoplifting. The high total of arrests were due to concerts at the Xfinity Center.
