Mansfield Police Update: 958 Calls, 22 Arrests

Here's a look at Mansfield police activity from last week.

The following is from the Mansfield Police Department and is for Sept. 9-22, 2017:

The Mansfield Police Department responded to 958 calls for service, a 15 percent decrease from the prior two weeks. Officers responded to six 911 hang-ups, 100 medical calls, and 55 alarms, 30 of which were commercial and 25 were residential. Officers conducted 103 motor vehicle stops. There were 75 citations and 28 warnings.

Police made 22 arrests during this period; seven were on-site arrests, 12 were summons, and three were warrant arrests. Fifty-three of the arrests were non-residents, and four were residents. In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 52 incident reports. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to assault and battery, breaking and entering, disorderly conduct, hit and run, unarmed robbery, shoplifting, threats, motor vehicle larceny, and disturbances.
