MANSFIELD, MA - A Mansfield selectman and his wife owe $4,891 in property taxes for 2015 and their home could be placed in a tax title, according to the town treasurer.

According to a list of potential tax takings to be advertised in the Sun Chronicle by town Treasurer Jacqueline Boudreau, Kozlowski owes a total of $5,824 and will be placed on a tax title if the bill is not paid by April 25.

Boudreau said she is required to advertise potential tax takings that are part of a collection effort.

The multi-step process allows the homeowner to pay their bills or set up a payment play before a tax taking occurs. A lien could be placed on the home if the bill is not paid in full.
