Mansfield Selectmen Name New Chair
It took three nominations, but the board has a new chair.

MANSFIELD, MA — Following three nominations for the chair, the Mansfield selectmen have a new chair, vice-chair, and clerk.
The board went through reorganization Wednesday night, going through third nominations for chairman. Selectman Michael Trowbridge nominated Selectman Frank DelVecchio, but the nomination was declined, with DelVecchio citing a need for experienced leadership as the town transitions to a new town manager.
Aptowitz, who was the last chair, was nominated Trowbridge, which was followed by a nomination for Aptowitz by Selectman Steve Schoonveld. Aptowitz turned town another year at the chair.
