Mansfield Slightly Down In Statewide School District Rankings

The district was ranked 93rd out of 334 in Massachusetts, down from 83rd a year ago.

MANSFIELD, MA — School Digger, a nationwide school rankings site, released its updated list of top Massachusetts schools and school districts Thursday, and the Mansfield Public School System was ranked lower than it was a year ago. In the new rankings, which were based partially on MCAS test data the state released last week, Mansfield was 93rd, down from 83rd a year ago.

The rankings mean Foxborough performed better up than 75.4 percent of all other districts in the state. That's below the high water mark of 77.8. percent posted in 2014.

Thursday's School Digger release also showed how individual schools in the district compared to every other school in the state:

  • Jordan-Jackson Elementary, 291st out of 934 elementary schools.
  • Qualters Middle School, 108th out of 476 middle schools.
  • Mansfield High School, 68th out of 340 high schools.
