Mansfield Tops Foxborough in Thanksgiving Football Showdown
The Hornets beat the Warriors 35-14 in the annual Turkey Day match.
MANSFIELD, MA — For nearly two and a half quarters the underdog Foxborough Warriors hung with the Mansfield Hornets in their annual Thanksgiving morning showdown. Leading by a touchdown entering the second half, the Hornets scored three more touchdowns, taking a 35-14 win in the annual Thanksgiving game.
Mansfield took a late first quarter lead on a 41-yard touchdown pass from Anthony DeGirolamo.

Mansfield, however, scored two quick touchdowns late in the half, first on the ground and then another thanks to special teams.
