Mansfield Town Election Set for Tuesday

Bearing a very strong result from a write-in candidate, Tuesday’s town election will likely be void of surprises. With four position on the ballot, this year will have no contested races.

The only new name on the ballot is Jennifer Walsh, who is the lone candidate for the school committee seat currently held by Wayne Smith.

Selectman George Dentino, moderator Robert Saquet, and housing authority member Elizabeth Dye are also seeking re-election.

The polls at Mansfield High School will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 12.
