Mansfield Train Station Reopened

The MBTA will resumed operation in Mansfield this afternoon and allowed vehicle pickup.

MANSFIELD, MA - The Mansfield train station was reopened Thursday afternoon.

Wednesday afternoon, the train station was shut down after an Amtrak train hit a person on the tracks. Due to the trash, several cars in the parking lot were unable to be picked up.

Vehicles on Mansfield Avenue were returned by an MBTA representative due to cleanup efforts.

Mansfield Avenue itself will continue to be shut down until further notice.

All trains on the Providence line resumed stopping at Mansfield after 3 p.m. Thursday.
