Mansfield Woman Arrested for Drugged Driving while Traveling from Stoughton to Easton

Sarah Miller, 25, was arrested in Easton after a police officer observed her car drifting in and out of the travel lane in Stoughton.

A Mansfield woman was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly driving in Easton and Stoughton while high on prescription drugs and marijuana.

Sarah Miller, 25, was charged with drugged driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation, according to the Enterprise. She was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton District Court.

Tuesday night, a Stoughton officer in an unmarked cruiser spotted a Dodge sedan driving from Stoughton to Easton while drifting in and out of the travel lane, according to police. Miller’s vehicle was stopped on Main Street near the Easton-Brockton line, about 2.3 miles from where the Stoughton officer observed her car.

Miller told an Easton officer that she smoked marijuana 45 minutes earlier and was on her way to Brockton. She was taken into custody after failing a field sobriety test.
